The projects at solid rock are driven by the continuous demands of those with careers within software development that often times force us to explore subject matters that are new to us. This can take the form of either research, such as in studding a new bleeding edge technology and evaluating its usability. Or learning of specialized domain level knowledge such as a new software development life cycle model employed by a particular client or employer.

In line with the concepts of extreme programming, solid rock project tend to be small restricted scope projects. These small micro project roll up in to what we will refer to on this sight as Products. Thus products tend to be a composite of many research attempts that role up together to achieve an end goal. Such goals revolve around either or both of the previous mentioned educational arenas.
