Pictureviewer is a Java based applet that runs in any browser that supports the Java (tm) plugin. The applet allows for the presentation of pictures in 'rolls', where a roll may contain 1..n pictures. Version 2.0 of pictureviewer allows for viewing of pictures that are both horizontally as well as vertically oriented without requiring modification to the digital pictures through image editing.
