The impitus and inspiration behind the first mobal project comes from my wife. In late 2009 she and a friend began the process of opening a new business producing quilts. As they worked through the process of putting a store front up on the internet there were many discussions on marketing strategy. As the different marketing concepts where being explored and discussed I thought what an interesting idea it would be to have a store front for creative art work on the cell phone. Right in front of people where they do most of their other daily communications!! From this thought spung the initial idea for the Quilt Maker project.
